Occupational Health and Safety Specialist

About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to join Mygwork, an inclusive employer and a member of the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community, as a Safety Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees at our Fulfilment Centres.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and Improve Site Performance: You will be responsible for monitoring our site's performance against set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and creating plans to improve processes and reduce risks.
- Develop and Implement Safety Programs: You will set up workplace health and safety programs and arrange training sessions to ensure our employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to work safely.
- Analyze Safety Metrics and Trends: You will analyze safety metrics and incident trends to help our colleagues plan appropriate resources for areas with the highest risk.
- Conduct Audits and Implement Solutions: You will carry out audits to ensure our site is compliant with relevant health and safety laws and implement solutions where you identify risks.
Requirements:
- Advanced Qualifications: You must hold a Tecnico Superior en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (including specialisations in Seguridad en el Trabajo, Higiene Industrial y Ergonomía & Psicosociología aplicada) following Spanish Health and Safety regulations.
- Understanding of Legislation: You must have a good understanding of Spanish Environment, Health and Safety legislation.
- Language Skills: You must have advanced proficiency in Spanish and English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lean and Kaizen Methodologies: Experience of Lean, 5S, or Kaizen methodologies would be an advantage.
- Environmental Initiatives: Experience of planning or managing environmentally conscious initiatives would be beneficial.
