Key Responsibilities- Contract Negotiation and Management: Support the Contracts function on activities in the PV and ESS Business Unit in Spain and other countries in the region as required.
- Contract Documentation: Review, draft, qualify, and negotiate various types of contractual documentation, including framework agreements, sales contracts, General Terms & Conditions, purchasing agreements, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, and letters of intent.
- Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify risks and deviations from Sungrow's contracting principles and obtain senior management approval where necessary.
- Contractual Qualifications: Prepare and negotiate contractual qualifications with new and existing clients.
- Contract and Risk Summaries: Prepare contract and risk summaries to ensure that all relevant project personnel are aware of contractual obligations, risks, and objectives.
- Dispute Resolution: Negotiate to resolution contractual and financial disputes on live projects, consulting with and advising Commercial managers.
- Policy and Procedure Adherence: Maintain and adhere to all relevant policies, processes, and procedures contained within Sungrow's Business Management System.
- Education: Degree educated in Law or a relevant Business-related qualification.
- Industry Experience: PV, Energy Storage, and Gas and/or Construction industry experience.
- Commercial Acumen: Commercially focused with a sound knowledge of Contract Law and the ability to draft in a legal / contractual context.
- Team Player: Experience working within a Contracts or Legal department.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build and maintain strong business relationships at all levels and translate to a non-legal audience.
- Credibility and Professionalism: Demonstrates credibility and professionalism at all times.
- Negotiation and Influence: Can engage, influence, and negotiate at all levels with stakeholders.
- Proactivity and Solutions-Oriented: Pro-active with a solutions-based approach, and the ability to constructively challenge and be challenged.
- Initiative and Ownership: Ability to demonstrate initiative and ownership, and work within a multi-disciplined team.
- Attention to Detail: Detail orientated with excellent analytical skills.
- Language Skills: Accustomed to report writing and presenting, English C1 is mandatory. Chinese language skill is an advantage.
- Planning and Organizing: Excellent planning and organising skills, accustomed to meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines.
