Job Summary

Analyze and improve current department processes to increase efficiency and productivity. Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools, time/motion studies, and other techniques to identify areas for improvement. Manage mid-sized projects and implementations, focusing on process modifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project teams to develop and implement process efficiencies using project management tools.
  • Research and gain in-depth understanding of current processes, documenting new areas of process improvement.
  • Analyze and benchmark process metrics against industry standards to ensure best practices.
  • Assist management in tracking and prioritizing projects in the Process Improvement Team pipeline.
  • Conduct time/motion studies to forecast savings in specific areas of a department.
  • Partner with IT to create technology solutions achieving direct process efficiencies.
  • Train staff on new approved business processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) required, plus a minimum of three years experience with process improvement, project management, or other related experience.
  • Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.
  • Ability to effectively present information.
