About the Role

Ria Financial Services is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our EMEA IT team. As a key member of our global IT department, you will be responsible for leading projects from inception to deployment, ensuring timely delivery, and exceeding stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Develop project implementation plans, identify schedules and deadlines, scope, estimations, and risks.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate internal teams and vendors for the execution of projects.
  • Reporting and Escalation: Report on project status, risks, and outcomes. Revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure project requirements can be met. Escalate issues as necessary.
  • Process Improvement: Ensure that organizational project management standards are met and enforced. Help evolve and improve these standards.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain relationships with the internal project community and with relevant third parties to ensure proper project execution. Manage project communication.
  • Agile Methodologies: Foster Agile principles and methods for project management.
  • Product Portfolio Management: Participate in the elaboration of product portfolios, aligned to strategic objectives.
  • Business Analysis: Analyze stakeholder and users' requests and identify the underlying goals. Clarify business needs and translate them into concise and effective user stories.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in information technology.
  • Technical Background: Technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Leadership and Team Building: Leadership and team building experience.
  • Project Management Tools: Experience on project management / software lifecycle tools (Jira, Targetprocess, Azure DevOps Redmine, etc.).
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience on Agile/Lean Development environments (Scrum, Kanban, XP).
  • Business Analysis: Experience on Agile business analysis, product backlog management, and writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Education and Certification: Project management education and/or certification (such as PMP / PRINCE II) is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of written and oral English.
