Ria Financial Services is a leading global money transfer company that operates in multiple regions and markets. Our company is committed to providing innovative financial solutions to our customers, and we are seeking a skilled Project Manager/Business Analyst to join our EMEA IT team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Project Manager/Business Analyst to lead projects from inception to deployment, ensuring timely delivery, scope, and budget adherence. The successful candidate will have excellent people management skills, strong knowledge of software development and IT systems lifecycle, and experience in Agile project management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management
    • Lead projects from inception to deployment, identifying schedules, deadlines, scope, estimations, and risks.
    • Develop project implementation plans and coordinate internal teams and vendors for project execution.
    • Report on project status, risks, and outcomes, and revise scope, schedule, or budget as necessary.
  • Business Analysis
    • Analyze stakeholder and user requests, identifying underlying goals and clarifying business needs.
    • Translate business needs into concise and effective user stories and define acceptance criteria for development, testing, and validation.
    • Conduct interviews, workflow analysis, process analysis, and observation sessions to gather feedback from UAT and product review sessions.
  • Agile Project Management
    • Foster Agile principles and methods for project management, including Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
    • Participate in the elaboration of product portfolios aligned to strategic objectives and help coordinate cross-product initiatives.
  • Leadership and Team Building
    • Develop and maintain relationships with internal project community and relevant third parties to ensure proper project execution.
    • Manage project communication and collaborate with product owners for creating and maintaining product backlogs.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in information technology.
  • Similar experience in systems/business analysis is a plus.
  • Technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
  • Leadership and team building experience.
  • Experience in project management software tools (Jira, Targetprocess, Azure DevOps Redmine, etc.) and Agile/Lean Development environments.
