We are seeking a Medical Scientific Liaison to join our team in the Specialty therapy area, reporting to the Medical Lead Spain. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a more educated healthcare environment through scientific engagement with healthcare providers and external experts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate in-depth knowledge of GSK data to ensure evidence-based understanding of the science behind GSK medicines in the area of expertise.
- Identify and segment external experts within the therapeutic area under responsibility.
- Gather valuable insights on GSK products and services, and on medical and scientific information to better understand patient needs and evidence gaps.
- Implement medical strategy through medical projects, including disease awareness, medical education, advisory boards, with External Experts.
- Execute effective medical plans and integrated evidence plans with the team.
- Collaborate closely with market access, marketing, and sales force to provide input into medical strategic direction.
Requirements:
- MD, Pharmacist, PHD, or equivalent in life sciences.
- Relevant experience as MSL in a role successfully engaging in scientific exchange with external experts.
- Competencies including communication skills, project management, clinical research insights, business, and market knowledge.
- Key cross-functional collaboration with local and regional medical and commercial key teams.
- English, verbally and in writing.
- Availability for travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Scientific background in Autoimmune diseases.
- Residence in Spain.
