About the Role

As a key member of our team at Novartis, you will be responsible for designing and implementing effective contract solutions that meet the company's performance, quality, and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Novartis' architectural standards, performance, quality, and security principles to inform contract design decisions.
  • Collaborate with functional pillars to lead design decisions for complex issues, ensuring a detailed rationale and interpretation of implications for the integrated solution.
  • Improve and sustain standardization efficiently while respecting regulatory and control requirements, such as NFCM-control requirements, P3, TPRM, and GxP.
  • Work with IT experts to ensure integrated solutions that meet quality standards and champion the need for standardization from a customization perspective.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant internal and external security and compliance policies and procedures, including FDA and Novartis IGM framework.
  • Develop and maintain strong functional subject matter expertise in commercial contracting processes with transactional customers, including wholesalers, hospitals, and pharmacies, across the entire contract lifecycle in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Define and develop contract and revenue architectures, contract and claim types, condition types related to condition contracts, and contract/revenue lifecycle-related reports.
  • Develop super user-level expertise in Vistex contract, pricing, and revenue management module or S4/HANA Sales & Distribution module (SD).
