About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Management Specialist to join our Legal Team at Edreams Odigeo in Barcelona. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our commercial contracting strategy and ensuring that our contracts are aligned with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting and Negotiation of Contracts: You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of contracts, including NDAs, supplier service agreements, and IT agreements, both domestically and globally.
  • Contract Risk Management: You will identify legal risks associated with contracts and develop effective strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: You will work closely with internal teams to provide clear and pragmatic legal guidance throughout the contract negotiation process, contributing to informed decision-making.
  • Contract Research and Analysis: You will conduct legal research on specific issues and provide clear and concise analyses to support decision-making.
  • Contract Communication: You will communicate with external parties, including suppliers and partners, to negotiate contracts and resolve contractual matters.
  • Contract Process Improvement: You will work with our Procurement Team to maintain an organized and accessible repository of contracts and related documentation.
  • Contract Knowledge Management: You will contribute to the creation, development, and enhancement of internal contractual processes and participate in the creation of a knowledge database for the contracts team.
  • Contract Template Development: You will prepare and review contract templates, the contract playbook, and other toolkits, communications, and training materials as needed.
  • Contract Technology Integration: You will explore the integration of legal tech tools, AI, and other innovative techniques to optimize the workflow and enhance the quality of work outcomes within the contract team.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Law from an accredited law school.
  • Experience: 3+ years of combined experience working as a legal counsel in a law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Language Skills: Full professional competency in English and Spanish (French and Portuguese would be a plus).
