About the Role

This position plays a crucial role in driving the execution of our company's ambition to leverage data and digital technologies to drive strategic insights across the organization.

This ambition is a key pillar in our broader digital transformation, aiming to become a focused company powered by data and digital.

This role assumes accountability for designing, building, and deploying LDC in-scope processes and data based on user requirements defined in conjunction with domain pillars and the E2E data team.

Working closely with architecture to identify new technologies and their potential applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accountable for LDC Solution Design in the assigned area, adhering to business requirements, Novartis architectural standards, performance, quality, and security principles.
  • Decides on design decisions for complex issues in collaboration with functional GPOs and LDC Pillars, considering detailed rationales and implications for the integrated solution.
  • Improves and sustains standardization while respecting regulatory and control requirements.
  • Supports the development, execution, and operations of solutions, working closely with IT experts and ensuring integrated solutions.
  • Accountable for delivering dedicated project work within agreed time, cost, and quality constraints, following release calendars.
  • Ensures solutions are peer-reviewed, formally documented, and signed off by domain pillars and business functions.
  • Accountable for solution testing, ensuring it meets quality standards.
  • Champions the need for standardization from a customization perspective, establishing standardized design and development processes for cost-effective delivery.
  • Ensures adherence to relevant internal and external security and compliance policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • University-level degree or equivalent.
  • Strong functional subject matter expertise in commercial contracting processes with transactional customers across the entire contract lifecycle in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Defining and developing contract and revenue architectures.
  • Defining contract claims types and determining condition types related to condition contracts.
  • Super user level of experience in Vistex contract, pricing, and revenue management module or S4/HANA Sales Distribution module (SD).
  • Additional Project Management training or certification desirable.
  • At least 3 years' experience in country and global roles.
  • Experience in supporting large programs over 5+ years, potentially in the magnitude of 500mUSD.
