About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Contract Management Lawyer to join our Global Legal & Compliance Team at Galderma. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the way we operate around commercial contracting, building agreement templates and playbooks, managing policies, and improving our contract management processes, tools, and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Support business and procurement operations by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including services and master services agreements, IT and systems agreements, SaaS, data processing agreements, marketing, advertising, and media.
  • Contract Template Management: Manage the contract templates globally, develop and/or enrich templates, and work with colleagues within the L&C department to improve and streamline our contracts templates.
  • Contract Investigation and Communication: Manage and investigate contract-related matters and issues in cooperation with business stakeholders and other corporate counsels, and communicate and present information to stakeholders about contracts.
  • Contract Compliance and Training: Prepare, communicate, and ensure compliance with contract guidelines, policies, and SOPs, develop and/or enrich contracts negotiation playbooks, and deliver associated trainings to stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and improve processes to mitigate contractual risks, improve contract quality, and increase efficiency, and be the legal point person for developing and managing Galderma's contract repositories and contracts management tools.
Requirements
  • Education: Licentiate, Bachelor of Laws, Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree from an accredited law school.
  • Experience: At least 5+ years' experience working with commercial contracts in a contract management setting, acquired in the pharmaceutical industry or consumer health sector.
  • Skills: Highly skilled at drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in English, expertise in developing efficient contract templates, playbooks, and standard documents, hands-on experience with contract management tools and systems, and demonstrated experience in streamlining processes, implementing systems, and tools.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, thrives in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction, and can adjust workload based upon changing priorities and deadlines.
