We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Legal Counsel to join our Global Legal & Compliance Team at Galderma. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our commercial contracting strategy and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Support business and procurement operations by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including services and master services agreements, IT and systems agreements, SaaS, data processing agreements, marketing, advertising, and media.
- Contract Template Management: Manage the contract templates globally, develop and/or enrich templates, and work with colleagues within the L&C department to improve and streamline our contracts templates.
- Contract Investigation and Communication: Manage and investigate contract-related matters and issues in cooperation with business stakeholders and other corporate counsels. Communicate and present information to stakeholders about contracts.
- Contract Compliance and Training: Prepare, communicate, and ensure compliance with contract guidelines, policies, and SOPs. Develop and/or enrich contracts negotiation playbooks and deliver associated trainings to stakeholders.
- Contract Risk Management: Develop and improve processes to mitigate contractual risks, improve contract quality, and increase efficiency.
- Contract Repository and Tools Management: Be the legal point person for developing and managing Galderma's contract repositories and contracts management tools and interact with business users to monitor usage and adoption, resolve issues, and make improvements.
- Education: Licentiate, Bachelor of Laws, Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree from an accredited law school.
- Experience: At least 5+ years' experience working with commercial contracts in a contract management setting – acquired in the pharmaceutical industry or consumer health sector.
- Skills: Highly skilled at drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in English. Expertise in developing efficient contract templates, playbooks, and standard documents. Hands-on experience with contract management tools and systems. Demonstrated experience in streamlining processes, implementing systems and tools. Excellent presentation skills to deliver training programs to internal stakeholders.
