Sales Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Sales Engineer to support the sale of Original Equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customer requirements and be able to provide exceptional technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to customers to ensure their equipment needs are met.
• Analyze specifications and utilize simulation software to select the most suitable equipment for customer applications.
• Assist in the preparation of detailed and competitive Original Equipment quotations and bids.
• Oversee order fulfillment requirements to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Travel to key accounts to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Support aftermarket sales through site visits and collaboration with other departments.
• Conduct engaging product presentations and training sessions to educate clients.
• Cultivate a deep understanding of Weir's products and services.
• Represent Weir Minerals at industry exhibitions and trade shows to showcase our offerings.
• Demonstrate unwavering commitment to our zero harm behaviors, contributing to the development of a world-class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mining, Industrial, or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Proven experience in the mining industry, particularly in customer-facing roles.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Willingness to travel extensively, up to 60% of the time.
