The Parallels Senior Sales Engineer is a key member of our sales team, responsible for providing technical expertise and support to customers and partners in the European Union and the United Kingdom. This role requires a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, security, virtualization, and cloud technologies, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform detailed demonstrations of Parallels products and provide in-depth technical assistance to potential customers.
- Take ownership of Proof of Concepts and ensure they are completed on time, meeting customer requirements.
- Actively participate in the design, implementation, and support of Parallels products.
- Provide guidance, recommendations, and expert advice on technical issues.
- Maintain an advanced understanding of all Parallels and related competitors' products.
- Develop project concepts and project proposals to solve customer needs and requests.
- Work with Account Managers, Sales Management, and Channel Partners to effectively schedule the use of technical resources to support selling efforts.
- Coordinate all activities related to technical sales support for potential customers and existing accounts.
- Plan and conduct a series of Technical Training sessions and Webinars, both online and at Channel Partners and Customers.
- Mentor and assist in training Sales Engineers, new hires, and the sales team as required.
Requirements:
- English speaking is mandatory; other languages are a strong plus.
- Arabic is a strong plus for this specific position, as the main focus will be on the funnel and partners in the Middle East.
- Ability to travel to industry events to provide on-booth or on-stage support to the sales & marketing colleagues.
