Job Title: Installation Supervisor

Are you a skilled professional looking for a challenging role in the wind energy industry? We are seeking an experienced Installation Supervisor to join our team at Vestas, a global leader in sustainable energy solutions.

About the Role:

As an Installation Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of wind turbines, ensuring that all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising the work of contractor companies and ensuring compliance with labor safety, quality, and environmental guidelines
  • Managing daily on-site issues, reporting, and site work deliverables
  • Planning and preparing site work rosters and schedules, and handling updates in SAP
  • Coordinating with on-site personnel, including Installation Teams and Service Technicians, to ensure timely and efficient completion of work
  • Liaising with on-site employer representatives and subcontractors
  • Presenting site inductions to Vestas personnel, subcontractors, and visitors, and attending site meetings with clients
  • Ensuring Quality, OH&S, and Environmental requirements are maintained and complied with by on-site personnel and subcontractors
  • Conducting daily toolbox meetings and work team briefings, and managing the daily task management board
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (desirable but not limiting)
  • High-level English language skills (C1)
  • Experience in service and people management, preferably in the wind industry, heavy machinery industry, or construction
  • Availability to travel in Iberia and South Africa
