Project Installation Manager

As a Project Installation Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the successful installation of our projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality, cost, and delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage all installation activities for the project, ensuring compliance with project strategy, DIS SIG, and SECURITY standards.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business, including Project Manager, Project Core Team, Regional Centre Installation Manager, and Regional Centre EHS Manager.
  • Manage internal interfaces with Projects Engineering, Industrial, Supply Chain, Test and Commissioning, Sourcing, and external technical interfaces with Partners, Third Parties, and Customers.
  • Organize and plan installation work, including managing installation work packages, QCD, and monthly work package reviews with the Project Manager.
  • Deliver engineering studies, including Bill of Installation Materials/Quantities, Method Statements, Installation Materials Specification Requirements, and Installation drawings and configuration.
  • Assist procurement, focusing on installation suppliers, and prepare and manage installation, including installation work, work permits, and interface with Warehouse.
  • Ensure EHS on field, adhering to Alstom's zero deviation policies and ensuring installers or subcontractors follow Alstom's EHS policies.
  • Monitor and manage QCD performances, including EHS and RSA, reporting and anticipating issues, and monitoring milestone progress dashboard with regular project KPI reports.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience/knowledge in field work execution in the railway sector, preferably with ADIF.
  • Experience in management and evaluation of subcontractors.
  • Orientation and experience in EHS and AZDP control.
  • High level of English is a must.
  • Availability to travel is required.
  • Conflict management and interpersonal skills.
  • Team spirit approach and good communication skills.
  • Abilities to obtain collaboration and 'pull together' all parties involved in the project.
