Project Installation Manager

As a Project Installation Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful installation of our projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality, cost, and delivery excellence.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage all installation activities for the project, ensuring alignment with the project strategy and compliance with relevant standards, policies, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business, including Project Manager, Project Core Team, Regional Centre Installation Manager, and Regional Centre EHS Manager, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage internal interfaces within Project, including Projects Engineering, Industrial, Supply Chain, Test and Commissioning, Sourcing, and external technical interfaces with Partners, Third Parties, and Customers.
  • Organise installation work, manage installation work packages, and review monthly progress with the Project Manager to control costs, resources, and schedule.
  • Deliver engineering studies, including Bill of Installation Materials/Quantities, Method Statements, Installation Materials Specification Requirements, and Installation drawings and configuration.
  • Assist procurement, focusing on installation suppliers, and prepare and manage installation, including installation work, work permits, and interfaces with Warehouse.
  • Ensure EHS on field, adhering to Alstom's zero deviation policies and ensuring installers and subcontractors follow Alstom's EHS policies.
  • Monitor and manage QCD performances, including EHS and RSA – Railway Safety, reporting and anticipating issues, and monitoring milestone progress dashboard with regular project KPI reports.
  • Assess monthly subcontractor performance and generate/action plans, reports, reviews, and progress.
  • Deploy and ensure the SIG and SECURITY Installation Process is applied as per the tailoring rules agreed with the RC IM.
