About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Specialist in Grid Technologies to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing our opportunity pipeline and orders in new and existing markets of Grid Technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain key customer relationships with players such as Solar/Windfarm developers, IPP, Industrial, and EPC to build strong partnerships.
  • Participate in fairs and associations to enlarge market share and build opportunities.
  • Support the Execution Unit head to define market strategy and targets.
  • Conduct price and market analysis for competitors.
  • Negotiate prices with customers.
  • Assist in system configuration and discussions with the tendering and execution teams in Service.
  • Ensure that the Sales and Tendering processes are implemented in line with Siemens Energy process and in a compliant and ethical manner.
  • Take ownership of the sales process end-to-end for nominated customers/opportunities within the Lead Management through to Project Handover and coordinate with stakeholders to provide technically accurate and commercially/financially compliant proposals.
  • Escalate critical aspects as necessary.
  • Develop technical knowledge in the allocated portfolio and extend expertise towards more complex business.
  • Define Bid/Win Strategy and develop technical solutions to meet customer needs.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical field.
  • Specific knowledge and >2 years experience with high voltage business will be a preferential expertise.
  • General knowledge of HV portfolio.
  • Knowledge of Grid Transmission customers.
  • Contract negotiation experience will be an advantage.
  • Available for frequent business trips on a national level, and sometimes also international.
  • Excellent/mother-tongue Spanish language is a must.
  • Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
  • High level of comprehension, strong analytical and structuring skills, critical thinking, assertiveness, curiosity, and initiative.
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
  • High skills for collaborative work among diverse teams and different countries, ability to build a good team environment and motivate it towards common and individual objectives.
  • Strong orientation to reach targets and customer service, initiative, and autonomy.
  • Willingness to have regular customer visits.
  • Focused on planning, organizing, and structuring resources; also good analytical and problem-solving skills, strategic thinker, and ambitious spirit.
  • Team player and able to communicate at multiple levels with customers, peers, and team members.
  • Ability to work in an accurate and structured way.
  • Capability to be self-supporting (able to work without supervision) and quickly learn new concepts.
