Senior Sales Specialist in High Voltage Substations

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a Senior Sales Specialist in High Voltage Substations, you will be responsible for growing the opportunity pipeline and orders in new and existing markets for substations and related solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain partnerships with key customers in the high voltage substation sector.
- Take ownership of the sales process for projects opportunities, from lead management to project handover.
- Understand customer needs and requirements to create successful strategies offering tailored solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to develop effective and differentiated strategies & tactics to achieve business objectives.
- Define Bid/Win Strategy and develop technical solutions to meet customer needs.
- Responsible for project bid clarification and negotiation with customer, analyzing customer's requirements and RFQs to clearly understand objectives, scope, timelines, negotiation points and evaluation criteria.
- Ensure that the Sales and Tendering processes are implemented in line with Siemens Energy process and in a compliant and ethical manner.
- Work together with relevant partners: Customers, Suppliers, Managers, Colleagues), effective communication Written & Verbal.
- Coordinates with engineering, factories, service groups and marketing groups to resolve configuration, scope and technical changes during the quoting process.
- A degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Knowledge and proven experience of the grid technology market.
- > 5 years experience in HV substations solutions and systems. Understanding of customer business drivers and process requirements. Project management experience will be an advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge of high voltage substations and their components.
- Willingness to travel as needed and to have regular customer visits.
- Good communication skills in English and Spanish. Able to communicate fluently, collaborate with both internal and external customers with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and influence other teams to collaborate.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Manage multiple tasks and projects under tight time frame while handling customer pressure.
- Disciplined in planning, organizing, and structuring of resources. Also to be considered good analytical and problem-solving skills, strategic analyst, Entrepreneurial spirit.
- Teammate and able to communicate multiple levels of customers, peers and team members.
- Ability to work in an accurate and structured way.
- High skills for collaborative work among diverse teams and different countries, ability to create good team environment and be a key part to motivate it towards the common and individual objectives.
- Capability to be self-supporting (able to work without supervision) and quickly learn new concepts.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and CRM tools and sales software.
- EHS Knowledge and Quality mindset.
