Job Title: Sales Engineer - Turnaround Services

Sulzer is a leading engineering company with a proud heritage of innovation. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in Madrid, Spain.

Job Summary:

The primary objective of this role is to generate profitable sales of Turnaround Services (TAS) and Tower Field Services (TFS) to current and prospective clients in Spain and Portugal. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and generating sales opportunities, developing relationships with customers, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and generate sales opportunities within the prescribed territory for Turnaround Services and Tower Field Services.
  • Develop relationships with turnaround and maintenance personnel at key customers to strengthen Sulzer's value proposition.
  • Proactively track major plant turnaround and shutdown events to plan customer visits and calls.
  • Lead the tendering process by coordinating internal sales teams and proposals engineers.
  • Prepare and present accurate sales visit reports and follow-up actions.
Requirements:
  • 4 years of work experience in a similar business environment.
  • Professional sales experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Energy sectors.
  • Ideally a Mechanical Engineering Qualification or suitable experience.
  • Specific knowledge of the Field Service market in the Territory.
  • Customer relationships, strategic commercial insight, and interpersonal and communication skills.
