IT Systems Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Manager to join our team at Volotea. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of all IT systems, including servers, storage, and cloud platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing strategies to meet the organization's needs in collaboration with other IT members.
- Ensuring the efficient operation of all IT systems, including servers, storage, and cloud platforms.
- Developing and implementing security policies and procedures to protect the organization.
- Developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of system failures or other disruptions.
- Ensuring that all IT infrastructure and systems comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- Leading projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver timely, high-quality results that align with business objectives.
- Managing and mentoring the IT infrastructure team, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities to build a high-performing and cohesive team.
- Developing and managing the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while aligning with the organization's financial goals.
Requirements include:
- Proven experience managing infrastructures, preferably in the airline or related industry.
- Knowledge of public cloud technologies (Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure).
- Knowledge of network designs, including LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and security protocols.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering successful projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
