The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled C++ Realtime Engineer to join our data intake team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Incident Management and Operations
    • Providing 2nd and 3rd level support for our financial data systems
  • Programming and Development
    • Designing and implementing low latency market data applications and APIs
    • Improving test coverage and ensuring data quality
  • On-Call Support
    • Providing on-call support for our DevOps team during out-of-office hours and weekends

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Technical Expertise
    • At least 3 years of experience with C++ 14/17/20, including design, profiling, performance tuning, STL, boost, template, and metaprogramming
    • Experience with API programming in C++, Java, and C#
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Working knowledge of various IPC mechanisms
    • Linux fundamentals and shell scripting
    • Git/GitLab experience
    • Knowledge of Python and Ansible is a plus
  • Soft Skills
    • Team player with excellent communication skills
    • Fluent in English
