Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled C++ Realtime Engineer to join our data intake team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining low-latency market data applications and APIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Incident management and operations, including 2nd and 3rd level support
  • Programming of low-latency market data apps and APIs in a SAFe and Kanban way of working
  • Improve test coverage
  • Test and check data for compliance and quality
  • Install and test software on QA and PROD systems
  • On-call support rotation (out of office hours and weekend) in the DevOps team

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience with C++ 14/17/20, with expertise in design, profiling, performance tuning, STL, boost, template, and metaprogramming
  • Experience in API programming (C++, Java, and C#) is a plus
  • Working knowledge of various IPC mechanisms
  • Linux fundamentals knowledge, shell scripting, Git/GitLab
  • Knowledge of Python and Ansible is a plus
  • Foundation in algorithms and data structures
  • Financial market data and low-latency/high-throughput systems knowledge is a plus
  • Team player and keen problem solver, with a proven track record operating complex systems under pressure
  • Great communication skills, fluent in English
