The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled C++ Realtime Engineer to join our data intake team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Incident Management and Operations
- Providing 2nd and 3rd level support for our financial data systems
- Programming of Low Latency Market Data Apps and APIs
- Designing and implementing high-performance C++ applications for market data processing
- Improving Test Coverage
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive test suites for our C++ applications
- On-Call Support Rotation
- Providing 24/7 support for our financial data systems
What You Bring
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- At Least 3 Years of Experience with C++ 14/17/20
- Experience in design, profiling, performance tuning, STL, boost, template, and metaprogramming
- Experience in API Programming
- C++, Java, and C# experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Linux Fundamentals
- Shell scripting and Git/GitLab experience is required
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills
- Ability to operate complex systems under pressure
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Fluent in English
