About the Role
Abbott Laboratories is a global healthcare company dedicated to improving lives through innovative products and technologies. As a Product Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales force in achieving sales and market share goals in the country and individually for assigned products. Your primary objective will be to ensure the successful launch and growth of our products in the market.
Key Responsibilities
Support Sales Representatives in achieving assigned products targets by providing aid to product presentations, training, and critical information.
Collaborate with the Division Manager to achieve assigned products targets in the territory by providing relevant information on competition, market share, initiatives, and aid in critical projects.
Analyze market situations and competition in the territory for assigned products and provide insights to support business decisions.
Prepare and deliver presentations for customers on assigned products, highlighting their features and benefits.
Develop and implement projects to assigned products, ensuring compliance with AV branding strategy.
Prepare or help distributors to prepare tender documentation for assigned products, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement marketing plans in the country, aligning with corporate policies and procedures.
Requirements
University degree in biology, medicine, or chemistry to effectively communicate product information.
Proficiency in computer programs and knowledge of regulations and standards affecting AV products.
Strong product knowledge, marketing skills, and communication and selling abilities.
Ability to work in a team, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
Integrity, self-management, and quality commitment are essential for success in this role.
