Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Senior Workplace Engineer to join our team at Straumann Group. As a subject matter expert in digital workplace services, you will apply your expertise in implementing new technologies and innovations to continuously improve our service. This role involves the management of end-to-end service delivery, ensuring the consistent provision of high-quality services to meet our business objectives.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in the technical design and implementation of Digital Workplace technologies, in alignment with Digital Workplace Architects.
  • Collaborate and work closely with regional teams to ensure the Endpoint management service is aligned with the needs of different areas of the business.
  • Project Management: Lead in the planning, execution, and delivery of endpoint device management projects.
  • External Resource Management: Collaborate with external partners, consultants, and contractors to operate the Device Management service roadmap.
  • Service Management: Create and maintain service descriptions, collaborate with stakeholders to define the service future roadmap.
  • Product Documentation: Create comprehensive product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and training materials.
  • Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of Microsoft Configuration Manager and Microsoft Intune.
  • Third-Level Ticket Resolution: Collaborate with the 2nd level support team and external partners to process incidents, problem and change tickets.

Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience on Service Management & Project Management in an enterprise organization.
  • Proven experience with Windows modern desktop management & endpoint security concepts.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Configuration Manager and Microsoft Intune.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
