Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Senior Workplace Engineer specialized in modern desktop management to fill a key role in our organization. This individual will be responsible for defining and driving the service roadmap for endpoint management, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions meet stakeholder needs, and managing external resources to operate the Device Management service roadmap.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in the technical design and implementation of Digital Workplace technologies, ensuring alignment with Digital Workplace Architects.
  • Lead in the planning, execution, and delivery of endpoint device management projects, adhering to best project management practices and driving the team towards successful project completion.
  • Manage external resources, collaborating with external partners, consultants, and contractors to operate the Device Management service roadmap, ensuring timely and quality execution of tasks.
  • Create and maintain service descriptions, collaborating with stakeholders to define the service future roadmap, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate implementation and successful deployment of Workplace solutions.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Microsoft Configuration Manager and Microsoft Intune, monitoring the health and performance of the endpoint management infrastructure and applying compliance or remediation scripts.
  • Collaborate with the 2nd level support team and external partners to process incidents, problem, and change tickets, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of complex endpoint management issues.

Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Service Management & Project Management in an enterprise organization.
  • Proven experience with Windows modern desktop management & endpoint security concepts.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Configuration Manager and Microsoft Intune.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Prince2).
  • Ability to manage external resources, vendors, and contractors effectively.
