About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crew Control Officer to join our team at Volotea. As a Crew Control Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of crew resources, while prioritizing safety and punctuality in all crewing decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage crew resources to ensure optimal utilization and minimize costs
  • Prioritize safety and punctuality in all crewing decisions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards
  • Guarantee that all crew duties are performed in accordance with the approved Flight Time Limitation (FTL) scheme
  • Communicate changes in the roster to crews in a clear and empathetic manner
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for crews, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain a standby crew roster to cover available aircraft, in accordance with the Standby Crew policy
  • Manage crew absences and leaves, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
  • Liaise with the ticketing department to arrange duty travel and accommodation for crews

Requirements:

  • Studies in Aeronautical Management or Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field
  • Mandatory advanced English language proficiency, both written and spoken (tested during the recruitment process)
  • Strong understanding of the aviation operational environment, with a focus on crew management and resource optimization
