About the Role

BMG Rights Management and Administration (Spain), S.L. is seeking a highly skilled A&R Manager to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping our creative profile in Spain, developing local talents, acquiring catalogues in publishing and recording, and interacting with our global network of artists, writers, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Frontline and catalogue signings on both publishing and master sides
  • Identifying and partnering with new songwriters and artists
  • Building strong relationships with artist managers, artists, writers, and partners
  • Developing new and existing artists and songwriters
  • Pitching and promoting music to internal creative colleagues and external business partners
Requirements
  • Experience in A&R or a similar role in the music industry
  • An existing network of songwriters, artists, and artist managers in the Spanish music scene
  • Good knowledge of our business and relevant/popular artists
  • Previous experience collaborating with international teams
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • A team-oriented mindset, together with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities and demanding timeframes
  • Flexibility and availability to attend and support live shows, creative actions, and scouting outside regular office hours
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (both spoken and written)
