As a key member of the Finance Department at Worldline Spain, you will play a crucial role in driving financial excellence and strategic growth. Reporting to the Regional Accounting Director SE/MEA/APAC, you will be responsible for leading the local Accounting Operations team and collaborating with the nearshore Global Functions Support team.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Leadership: Lead and develop the local Accounting Operations team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial results and processes.
- Collaboration and Support: Cooperate with the nearshore Global Functions Support team and provide support as needed to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Statutory Reporting: Finalize the Statutory Reporting for the three legal entities of the Group, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Audit and Compliance: Liaise with internal and external auditors as the main point of contact for audit plans and follow-up on to-do lists.
- Financial Analysis: Ensure the quality of monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations, with a focus on intermediation accounting.
- Regulatory Reporting: Support the preparation of regulatory/statistical reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Cash and Working Capital Management: Manage cash, working capital, bank guarantees, and relationships with local banks.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Collaborate with the local controlling team for the finalization of monthly closing reporting for Worldline Group.
- Consolidation Support: Provide timely support to the Consolidation team for clarification on local accounting positions.
- Internal Control: Carry out assigned Worldline Group Internal Control activities.
- Tax and VAT Management: Provide and review information required for Corporate Tax, VAT, and other Tax submissions, as well as manage tax and VAT-related queries with tax advisors.
- Strategic Implementation: Support the Regional Accounting Director in the local implementation of group strategies.
- Cost Management: Ensure the local cost base of Accounting Operations is under control.
You will be a strong analytical and communication professional with sophisticated skills in mathematics, accounting, and finance. Proficient English level is required, and Spanish mother tongue is essential for this role.
