Eni Plenitude Renewables Spain SL is a leading company in the renewable energy sector, seeking to grow its Finance Department with the incorporation of a senior accountant in its headquarters in Madrid, Spain.
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to join our team as a Senior Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions of Plenitude Renewables' different companies/entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the accounting and administrative functions of Plenitude Renewables' different companies/entities
- Elaborate and present Annual Statements
- Collaborate in the audit process of the different companies being managed
- Manage accounts receivable and payable
- Bank statement reconciliations
- Execution of payments
- Reporting and compliance with headquarters
Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics or higher education in Administration or Accounting
- Experience in Spanish financial departments with knowledge of Spanish laws, taxes and local GAAP accounting
- Knowledge of the renewable sector and IFRS GAAP will be a plus
- Knowledge of Navision and/or SAP is a plus
- Spanish native speaker and very good command of English (written and spoken) are essential. Knowledge of French or Italian is a plus
- Reliable, task-oriented, and proactive team member with good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Ability to analyze data and make decisions
- Advanced knowledge of accounting software and Excel
