Job Title: Accounting and Tax Specialist Spain
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Tax Specialist to join our team in Spain. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and management of administrative, financial, and tax issues for our group of companies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of reference for clients, ensuring high-quality service and meeting all requests on a timely basis.
- Issue and receive invoices, registration, and preparation of applicable taxes.
- Manage bank movements, including payments, receivables, tax liquidations, and loans repayments.
- Prepare and submit financial reporting to clients, including main KPIs.
- Perform bank reconciliations, accruing of project incomes, and main expenses.
- Manage documentation, including physical and digital archives.
- Support the preparation and deposit of Annual Accounts and official books.
- Prepare VAT returns on a monthly and quarterly basis and assist with tax queries.
- Draft mandatory communications to tax authorities and elaborate local tax documentation.
- Manage notifications from tax authorities.
Requirements:
- Accounting, financial, and tax knowledge of small and medium companies.
- 2-3 years of experience.
- Qualified with experience in accounting for renewable assets.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong aptitude for math and attention to detail.
- Ability to organize work independently and as part of a team.
