Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Unified Communications Engineer to join our team at Motorola Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing unified communication systems that meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement unified communication systems that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Design and develop system architecture, ensuring the integrity of the architecture and documentation.
- Support the ship acceptance process and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure knowledge sharing.
- Handle software configuration to ensure seamless integration with various customer configurations.
- Travel to customer sites as required to ensure successful system implementation.
Requirements:
- Recognized degree or equivalent education in electronic/electrical and IT communications engineering.
- Willingness to obtain security clearance at the required level.
- Good knowledge of IP networking and IT infrastructure understanding.
- Strong interpersonal skills, interacting with government customers, third-party vendors, and MSI colleagues.
- Good oral and written presentation skills in English.
Travel Requirements:
25-50% travel required.
