Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

Ribbon Communications is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our Account Directors and supporting the pre-sales process for our Enterprise and Channel account base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide deep-level technical assistance to Account Directors for accounts in Enterprise and Channel partners within the theatre.
  • Oversee all Pre- and Post-sales efforts within assigned accounts.
  • Demonstrate an excellent overall understanding of the telecommunications and enterprise/channel industry, its products, services, and technologies.
  • Provide technical support in sales presentations, quotation development, and product demonstrations.
  • Work with Account Directors/Teams to identify revenue opportunities within targeted account bases (both existing and new).
  • Coordinate and proactively provide technical support to ensure Ribbon solutions are selected.
  • Develop and present product and application solutions to potential customers.
  • Interface with Ribbon PLM and Marketing to review and proactively plan for customer requirements.
  • Provide answers to customer inquiries concerning system software requirements and applications.
Requirements:
  • Proven sales support experience and established relationships in the industry.
  • Thorough understanding of Voice over IP standards, applications, and practices.
  • Thorough understanding of Session Border Controllers and associated standards, applications, and practices.
  • Experience in the Telecom industry with a proven track record of selling and partnering with Enterprise accounts, Systems Integrators, Tier 1 and Tier 2 Service Providers.
  • Excellent team player with strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated industry professional with a good sense of humor.
