Warehouse Automation Specialist

Signode Packaging Spain is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Automation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our automation solutions portfolio, you will be responsible for developing and commissioning our warehouse automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and modify software for PLCs (Siemens and Allen Bradley)
  • Integrate and set up automation components: Motors, VFDs, encoders, etc.
  • Assist the workshop in setting up machines before delivery to sites
  • Collaborate with the Site Manager and Project Manager on site to check and test the installation before commissioning
  • Commissioning on site the system
  • Maintain a strong focus on final product quality
Requirements:
  • Senior electromechanical technician or similar education in Mechatronics
  • Proficient in English
  • Travel availability is essential
  • Understanding of PLC architectural style
  • Good understanding of electrical diagrams
  • Good understanding in automation technologies: motors, sensors, VFDs, etc.
  • Preferable experience in industrial automation
