Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Automation Specialist to join our team at Signode Packaging Spain. As a key member of our automation solutions team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and commissioning warehouse automation solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and modify software for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) from leading manufacturers such as Siemens and Allen Bradley.
  • Integrate and set up automation components, including motors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), encoders, and other related equipment.
  • Collaborate with our workshop team to set up machines before delivery to sites.
  • Work closely with our Site Manager and Project Manager to ensure smooth installation and testing of automation solutions.
  • Assist in the commissioning of automation systems on-site.
  • Maintain a strong focus on delivering high-quality automation solutions that meet our customers' expectations.

Requirements

  • Senior electromechanical technician or similar education in Mechatronics.
  • Proficient in English language.
  • Ability to travel frequently for on-site work.
  • Understanding of PLC architectural style and electrical diagrams.
  • Knowledge of automation technologies, including motors, sensors, VFDs, and other related equipment.
  • Desirable experience in industrial automation.
