Warehouse Automation Specialist

Join Signode Packaging Spain as a Warehouse Automation Specialist and play a key role in developing and commissioning automation solutions for our clients. As a specialist in warehouse automation, you will be responsible for installing and modifying software for PLCs, integrating and setting up automation components, and assisting in the setup and testing of machines before delivery to sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and modify software for PLCs (Siemens and Allen Bradley)
  • Integrate and set up automation components: Motors, VFDs, encoders, etc.
  • Assist in the setup and testing of machines before delivery to sites
  • Commission automation systems on site
  • Ensure high-quality final products

Requirements:

  • Senior electromechanical technician or similar education in Mechatronics
  • Proficient in English
  • Travel availability is essential
  • Understanding of PLC architectural style
  • Good understanding of electrical diagrams
  • Good understanding in automation technologies: motors, sensors, VFDs, etc.
  • Preferable experience in industrial automation
