Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Automation Specialist to join our team at Signode Packaging Spain. As a key member of our automation solutions team, you will be responsible for the development and commissioning of our automation solutions portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and modify software for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) from leading manufacturers such as Siemens and Allen Bradley.
  • Integrate and set up automation components, including motors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), encoders, and other related equipment.
  • Collaborate with our workshop team to set up machines before delivery to sites.
  • Assist the Site Manager and Project Manager on site to check and test installations before commissioning.
  • Commission and assist in the on-site installation of automation systems.
  • Maintain a strong focus on final product quality and ensure that all automation solutions meet our high standards.

Requirements

  • Senior electromechanical technician or similar education in Mechatronics.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Travel availability is essential for this role.
  • Understanding of PLC architectural style and electrical diagrams.
  • Good understanding of automation technologies, including motors, sensors, VFDs, and other related equipment.
  • Preferable experience in industrial automation.
