Job Title: IT Support Specialist

Join Bmat Music Innovators as an IT Support Specialist and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure. As a key member of our IT Ops & Security team, you will provide first-line support for all IT-related issues, collaborating closely with various departments to achieve our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment preparation and device handling.
  • Manage requests for account, laptop, and network servicing, ensuring minimal disruptions to our team's productivity.
  • Coordinate with Office and Facilities to provide support for events and ensure the Office network and A/V equipment run smoothly.
  • Support teammates with quarterly projects and the IT-Support queue.
Collaboration and Team Dynamics:

You will work closely with the IT Ops & Security team and collaborate with all company departments to provide first-line support for IT-related issues.

Expectations:
  • Within 30 Days:
    • Familiarize yourself with essential aspects of the role and support foundational tasks.
    • Work with the IT Ops & Security team to understand their objectives and workflows.
    • Assist in user lifecycle management, including provisioning of equipment and accounts.
  • Within 60 Days:
    • Take on more complex responsibilities and actively contribute to team/project/strategic initiatives.
    • Coordinate logistics for prompt device delivery for remote onboardings.
    • Assist with technical support requests, including issues with networking, operating systems, and applications.
  • Within 90 Days:
    • Automously manage tasks, contribute to strategic planning, and take on leadership roles as appropriate.
    • Assist with technical support requests as above, both on-site and remotely.
    • Support Office and Facilities with A/V equipment.
Requirements:
  • Preferably 1 year of experience in IT Support.
  • Experience in systems/network administration or related roles is preferred but not necessary.
  • Demonstrate understanding of security principles, practices, and relevant regulations.
  • Familiarity with Mac, Linux, and Windows operating systems is advantageous.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
