Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Labor Relations Consultant to join our team at Microsoft. As a key member of our HR Consulting function, you will be responsible for leading labor relations engagements in Spain and partnering closely with country HR leadership and business leadership to ensure a healthy and productive labor relations environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for employee relations and union negotiations within the aligned country.
  • Partner with CELA, HR stakeholders, and geo business leadership to manage and resolve product inquiries/launches requiring representative engagement.
  • Assist/Partner with HR Planners and change leaders to implement organizational changes that require labor relations engagements, especially during fiscal year changes.
  • Ensure appropriate control, compliance, and tracking of open labor relations issues in partnership with CELA and HR stakeholders at the country level.
  • Build and manage constructive, effective relationships with employee representatives and provide insights to business leaders and HR partners on the relationships between the company and employee representatives.
Requirements
  • Experience in Human Resources with a focus on labor relations or Bachelor's Degree and experience with Human Resources with a focus on Labor Relations.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading challenging labor relations negotiations.
  • Formal qualifications in associated skills (e.g., mediation and/or conflict resolution) relevant to the region.
