About the Role

As a Labor Relations Specialist at Byd Europe, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's compliance with labor laws and regulations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing internal governance processes, coordinating with lawyers and agencies, and providing 'best in class' Labor Relations consultancy services to local and global business leaders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the primary contact for labor-related matters, ensuring complete awareness of labor reforms and modifications.
  • Prepare and create documents and agreements related to labor matters, such as work calendars, policies, and contracts.
  • Support business leaders on employment-related cases, including collective bargaining, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  • Define and implement the company's compensation and benefits policy.
  • Oversee payroll processes with external agencies and review and maintain health and safety processes.
  • Manage data tools, track, and report data to support data-driven decision making.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of Employee Relations experience, including compensation, flexible working, and general policies.
  • Degree or Master's in Labour Relations, Legal, or similar.
  • Knowledge of Spanish Employment Legislation application and interpretation.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence and liaise with all levels of management.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
