Cloud Native Java Developer Wanted

We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our team at Webfleet Solutions B.V. in Barcelona, Spain. As a cloud native Java developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the development and UX team to specify and implement new features
  • Agree on technical implementation with component owners and estimate work effort
  • Write high-quality code and perform code reviews for other engineers
  • Implement, test, and demonstrate new product features in an agile process
  • Develop complete sets of functionalities including backend and frontend
  • Create new microservices or migrate existing services to run on cloud infrastructure
  • Work on usability, performance improvements, or quality assurance, including bug fixes and test automation
  • Monitor and fix potential security issues
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Java Backend Developer
  • Immediate availability to work with us
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, including containers and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Jenkins, BitBucket, SonarQube, and JIRA
  • Ability to work in an agile team and take ownership of tasks
