About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer to join our team at Bridgestone Mobility Solutions. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Java-based backend systems.

Your primary focus will be on building scalable, efficient, and secure backend applications using Java and related technologies. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with our frontend and database systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality Java-based backend applications.
  • Collaborate with our development team to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain our Java-based backend systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Work closely with our QA team to ensure thorough testing and validation of our backend applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our development processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Java and related technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our backend systems.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on backend systems.
  • Proficiency in Java 8 and later versions, as well as related technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, and Java EE.
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, such as AWS or Azure, and containerization using Docker.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues and optimize system performance.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
