About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Backend Java Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing new features using Java. You will work closely with our cross-functional team to develop and maintain core REST microservices, as well as collaborate with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Terraform, and Gitlab CI/CD. Your daily tasks will include developing and maintaining software, working on project facets, and defining and implementing rules and good practices to ensure the health and growth of our platform.

Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and test new features using Java
• Develop and maintain core REST microservices
• Work with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Terraform, and Gitlab CI/CD
• Help lead features and initiatives from idea to execution
• Define and implement rules and good practices to ensure the health and growth of the platform

Requirements
• 3-5 years of experience with a JVM language (Java, Scala, or Kotlin)
• Exposure to web development with a focus on backend services
• Decent understanding of Linux, software architecture, and infrastructure concepts
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• Ability to develop solution architecture designs and learn complex systems
• Willingness to research and share knowledge with the team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
