Senior Backend Java Developer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Backend Java Developer to join our team in Barcelona. As a Senior Backend Java Developer, you will design and develop solutions on our cloud-based technology platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create and run services related to marketing and business.
  2. Develop microservices from the front end to the database.
  3. Ensure software quality with suitable test coverage.
  4. Guarantee efficient functioning.
  5. Mentor less experienced team members in pair programming and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  6. Work with agile software development approaches like SCRUM, Kanban, and pair programming.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  2. Deep knowledge of Spring Boot.
  3. At least four years of relevant experience in developing agile and digital products.
  4. Comfortable dealing with databases like Oracle or MongoDB and extensive understanding of Java and React/Kotlin.
  5. Passionate about creating products.
  6. Want to work in a team to develop large software systems.
  7. Knowledge and experience with e-commerce microservices, NoSQL databases, REST, SpringBoot, DevOps, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (preferably GCP) are a plus.
