About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our agile team in Barcelona. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the development and UX team, commercial product manager, and product owner to specify and implement new features.
  • Estimate work effort and agree on technical implementation with component owners.
  • Write high-quality code, perform code reviews, and implement new product features in an agile process.
  • Develop complete sets of functionalities, including backend and frontend, and create new microservices or migrate existing services to run on cloud infrastructure.
  • Work on usability, performance improvements, quality assurance, bug fixes, and test automation.
  • Ensure the security of our applications and infrastructure.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in Java development.
  • Knowledge of popular Java libraries and frameworks, including JPA, Spring, Kafka, etc.
