About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer to join our team at Bridgestone Mobility Solutions. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Java-based backend systems.

Your primary focus will be on building scalable, efficient, and secure backend applications using Java and related technologies. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend systems, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and data processing pipelines.
  • Collaborate with our development team to identify and prioritize project requirements, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Work with our DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of our backend systems, including containerization, orchestration, and monitoring.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Java and related technologies, and contribute to the improvement of our development processes and tools.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on backend systems.
  • Proficiency in Java 8 and later versions, including Java EE and Spring Framework.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and monitoring tools (ELK, Grafana).
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
