Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Market Planner to join our team in Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Greece. As a Market Planner, you will be responsible for developing and leading the inventory plan and execution for the market, optimizing inventory opportunities and analyzing variance.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Planning: Develop and lead the inventory plan and execution for the market, optimizing inventory opportunities and analyzing variance.
- Supply Chain Management: Communicate supply issues to the sales team, lead commercial meetings, and handle country fulfillment.
- Product Management: Identify low cover products and effectively resolve related issues.
- Risk Management: Manage back-order risks and provide timely communication to commercial teams.
- Strategic Planning: Lead strategic stock build planning, considering factors such as import license registration, M&A;, and supply issues.
- Order Management: Supervise order management, inbound POs, and collaborate with partners to resolve short-term supply issues.
- Product Allocation: Rebalance product allocation based on customer limits in coordination with marketing partners.
- Feedback and Reporting: Provide valuable feedback at the country or market level.
- Product Launches: Lead new product launches and phase-outs within the market.
- Reporting and Analytics: Update JDE sourcing and maintain reports for the commercial team.
- Transfer Orders: Confirm transfer orders for imported products.
- Supply Issue Resolution: Make decisions and approve supply issue resolutions for imported products.
- Waste Reduction: Develop monthly reserve proposals while seeking ways to reduce waste.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required, Master's degree preferred, with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, warehousing, distribution, logistics, transportation, customer service, or inventory planning.
- Supply Chain Knowledge: Solid understanding of effective Supply Chain performance and operations management.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to deep dive when necessary.
- Import/Export Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of import/export regulations.
- Planning Systems: Proficiency in RapidResponse or other relevant planning systems.
- Prioritization and Adaptability: Experience in prioritization and adaptability to change.
- Relationship Management: Established track record of effectively managing relationships with individuals across various locations within a complex organizational setup.
- Project Management: Basic project management skills and lean/continuous improvement knowledge.
- Customer Focus: Focused on meeting customer needs with a strong emphasis on service.
- Language Skills: Local language skills required.
- Certification: APICS certification is a plus.
