Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Marketing Strategist to develop strategic marketing plans that drive revenue across all departments. This role will be responsible for partnering with sales and revenue to ensure a unified approach, developing offers and campaigns that drive revenue for the hotel, executed in alignment with SLS brand creative standards.

This position requires a proven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation, who can manage and inspire others to achieve exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in progressive roles within a marketing function, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.

The Global Marketing Strategist will oversee the Hotel website, ensuring information is up-to-date, hotel events, offers and F&B information are merchandised appropriately across the site. Additionally, they will lead a team of professionals with functional expertise in Public Relations, Social Media, Paid Media Advertising, Email Marketing, and Graphic Design.

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be fluent in Spanish and English, and possess a University degree with emphasis in Marketing. They will also have proficiency in systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook, Opera, Canva, Sprout, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic marketing plans that drive revenue across all departments
  • Partner with sales and revenue to ensure a unified approach
  • Develop offers and campaigns that drive revenue for the hotel, executed in alignment with SLS brand creative standards
  • Manage and inspire a team of professionals with functional expertise in Public Relations, Social Media, Paid Media Advertising, Email Marketing, and Graphic Design
  • Oversight of the Hotel website, ensuring information is up-to-date, hotel events, offers and F&B information are merchandised appropriately across the site
  • Create relationships with local press, influencers, and tastemakers, and coordinate media stays and events to host these audiences at the hotel
  • Liaise with SLS Brand team on styling and execution of property photoshoots to support social and marketing initiatives
  • Budget development and ongoing budget management

Salary Range:$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience
