At Wabtec Corporation, we're committed to delivering innovative solutions for the rail industry. As a Project Quality Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the First Article Inspection (FAI) process, collaborating with the Project Core Team.
  • Manage product certification and approval processes.
  • Develop and implement Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) and define quality requirements for projects.
  • Coordinate quality planning, reviews, and performance with the Project Manager and Quality line Functions.
  • Ensure delivery of quality deliverables at project gates, adhering to acceptance criteria.
  • Reject non-conforming products or documents and manage quality records.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Quality, including customer, warranty, and project quality.
  • Knowledge of Quality tools (Control Plan, FMEA, MSA, 8D, FTA, QRQC, SPC, 5S, APQP).
  • Proficiency in Quality Systems (ISO 9001, ISOTS 22163 "IRIS").
  • Professional English language skills.
  • Excellent communication, charisma, and influencing skills.
  • Analytical mindset and collaborative teamwork orientation.
