About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Kellanova. As a key member of our quality operations team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute the plant sanitation program and achieve expected results.
  • Conduct clean-up inspections and verification/validations to identify hygienic design improvements, methodology enhancements, and capital requirements for sanitation, allergen, and other areas.
  • Improve sanitation processes and identify capability-building needs in sanitation to close the gap.
  • Participate in sanitation projects and forums to ensure adherence to quality and food safety standards.
  • Be part of specialized forums to participate in food safety risk assessments and follow global sanitation policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Advanced level of Spanish and English.
  • Experience in Quality Food Safety activities.
  • Experience in Food Science/Applied Microbiology.
  • A background in Food Technology, Food Science Engineering, or similar.
  • Good knowledge about production engineering.
